I work at the IT Systems Centre of Cardinal Stefan Wyszynski University (CSI UKSW) in Warsaw, maintaining and developing IT services for thousands of students and staff. I combine the roles of systems administrator, technical support and the person responsible for deployments and integration of university systems.

Among other things, I'm responsible for the university's central login — an SSO system with multi-factor authentication (MFA), integrated with directory services, where one password securely opens every service. I build web applications in PHP (including the start.uksw.edu.pl portal), administer SQL databases in high-availability clusters and deploy applications in containers with CI/CD automation.

I like knowing how things work under the hood — when something breaks I find the cause at every level: from a user account and the application, through logs and containers, down to server or network configuration. After hours I run my own IT business and an extensive Proxmox homelab — a three-node cluster with VPNs, DNS and monitoring, running 24/7. I treat security as a priority: I'd rather lock the gate before anyone finds it.
